UTLBSTAT/UTLESTAT

I have just begun using UTLBSTAT.SQL and UTLESTAT.SQL scripts that come with Oracle Server 7.x. The resulting report has a lot of data that I am finding a hard time finding reference to in any Oracle documentation. Things like GETHITRATIO, PINHITRATIOS, etc. Does anyone know a good reference on the use of UTLBSTAT/UTLESTAT and interpretation of the resulting report? Thanks in advance.
