Hello. I've a question regarding DB Links between HP and SUN platforms.
I can create a functional DB Link to ORACLE 7.0.12/TNSLSNR for SunOS: Version 2.0.12.1.0 from ORACLE 7.1.3.0.0/TNSLSNR for HPUX: Version 2.1.3.0.0. But when I create a like link from the Sun box to the HP, and run a query, I get disconnected from ORACLE and the following message comes up:
'Unexpected oracle server termination by signal 6'.
Any idea what this means and how I might correct the situation?
Oddly enough, I can login to either DB using: sqlplus username_at_service name.
TIA for your help -- Angelo Melendez
