As a final dispute to this rumor, Oracle is committed to OpenVMS. Oracle's OpenVMS product line management announced that Oracle and Digital are increasing the number of OpenVMS engineers at Oracle. In fact, their hiring OpenVMS people like mad right now. Give them a call if you're OpenVMS-savvy and interested in applying.
