I am currently installing Oracle7 on a Sun (running SunOS 4.1) along with SQL*NET V1 TCP/IP (orasrv). The situation is the following:
- I created users with ops$login accounts.
- automatic logon works well for those users when performing tools, e.g. SQL*Plus, on the server (TWO_TASK unset!!)
- logon for ops$ accounts is denied via SQL*NET TCP/IP (orasrv) (TWO_TASK set!!) Error Messages: ORA-01004: default username feature not supported; logon denied ORA-01988: remote os logon is not allowed
- printing the status information of the orasrv-process tells that ops$ login is enabled (!)
Does anybody know what might be wrong?
Many thanks in advance for any hints.

Peter Bichler
