  The MITRE Corporation is an independent, not-for-profit organization operating in the public interest that provides technical assistance, system engineering, and acquisition support to U.S. Government agencies. Located along Route 128, amid one of the largest concentrations of technical corporations and universities in the country, MITRE is seeking a database oriented software engineer to join our rapidly growing Advanced Information Systems Technology Department.
  This position calls for a hands-on software developer to work with leading edge features of relational databases for product assessment purposes and the development of challenging client/server applications utilizing distributed databases. This position offers the rare opportunity to assist in benchmarking Oracle, Sybase and Informix. Requirements include BSCS/MSCS or equivalent and demonstrated knowledge of Oracle, Sybase or Informix in a Unix environment. Strong credentials in computer science or computer engineering are required. U.S Citizenship is also required.
