A couple of books to look at are from Oracle Press. "Oracle DBA Handbook" covers a lot of good DBA subjects, including administration of Oracle Financials. There is another one on performance tuning, but I can't remember the title just now. Any book store with a good tech ref section should have these.

O'Reilly has one called "Oracle Performance Tuning" I believe. This one covers performance tuning and capacity planning for a number of I/S roles; capacity planner, I/S manager, DBA, developer. It's a pretty good intro to Oracle DBMS concepts. Received on Wed Sep 20 1995 - 00:00:00 CEST
