Import/Export flat file data into forms

I need to be able to import a flat file that is on a PC or Mac into an Oracle database running on a Sun box. The PC or Mac is running Forms 4.0 and SQL*Net. Whatever the solution, it has to be able to be done on Macs and PCs.

Is there any way to read in a file from Forms 4.0 on the client side for the purposes of inserting/updating the database? If not, is there an SQL*Loader utility on the PC and the Mac that can be activated from within Forms 4.0? I understand there is one for the PC that comes with Personal Oracle7. I haven't tried it because I can't find one for the Mac.

The problem is essentially the automation of loading a flat file into an Oracle table.

If anyone has had any success with the same problem, please tell me how you did it.
