I was able to install Developer 2000 on two different Win95 boxes. Additionally, I was able to connect to a Oracle database running on NT.
I had problems trying to load Personal Oracle for windows on Win95 as this is looking for Win32s instead of the full Win32. Win32s was the bridge for 32-bit apps in order to run under Windows 3.1.
Did this make since - not really. But we live in interesting times.
I tried PO7 for Win95 yesterday as a matter of fact, and could not get Forms 4.5 to work with it. Oracle's response is that Developer for Win95 should be out in first quarter 1995, in the meantime Developer is not supported for Win95.
However, if any of you have been able to get this to work....
