Create a user defined property and drag it onto the Form or the Form's property sheet. See Variable Declarations in the help file. Difficult for you since...

No problems here, but I'm on a Quadra. I'll try a PMac when I get a chance. I assume you've tried eliminating all but the necessary inits. If that fails, you might try turning off Modern Memory Manager. Regards,
