C to Oracle: tutorials/samples on the net?

Hello all! I'm trying to figure out how to do some basic Oracle SQL stuff from a C program. Are there any short sample programs or tutorials out there on the 'net? I've read the FAQ (v1.4 and current version) and checked out the suggested sites, but, unless I missed something, I didn't find anything on how to do calls from a C program. I've done similar things on Sybase (using dblib) and Sharebase (using idmlib), so I'm familiar with the basic concepts, but I can't find any documentation for our school's version of Oracle.

If there's nothing available for free, can anyone suggest any good books on how to do this in Oracle?

Thanks in advance,

Tom
