Obackup ??

As part of my shop's implementation of Legato management is becomming awear of "obackup" (aka Oracle Parallel Backup/Restore Utility).

I am having trouble finding detailed information on this product and would appreciate hearing from those who have had some experience with it.

Does it require installing the parallel query option ? Is it bundled with the standard distribution ? Added license cost ?

I'm running Oracle versions 6.0.37 - 7.2.2 on AIX, SUN, and HP.
