Vendor Plug: Platinum Technology now has ProReports from Software Interfaces. ProReports is a multi-database querying and reporting tool. You create your reports from a series of canned templates (or create your own), then create the fields by dragging and dropping from selected tables. The SQL you generate may be edited so you can do such things as add additional WHERE clauses, or perform joins, or nested SELECTs. The SQL is syntax checked per targeted database.
