Dear Comet--
My original interest was in the SupportLink part of the page, not the TechConnect, which does indeed clearly say you have to be interested in OMO (why???). However, the only pushbutton available at the site was on the Techconnect intro screen, so I pushed the button . . .
I first heard of SupportLink from posts on the Oracle COMPUSERVE forum.
The telephone Customer Support (sic) folks did not have a clue about either TechConnect or SupportLink, and kept insisting that I wanted www.oracle.com.
Anyhow, at this point I assume that the hard-working folks pushing the idea of using the Web for tech support (yeah!!!) are still constructing. That's cool. But maybe someone could clue us in on the timeline & objectives so we know how long we should hold our breath, and what goodies are in store . . .
Thanks.
