Reports 2.5

hello all,

 I'm making some reports that are sort of letter like, and they take up more than one page in the layout editor .... when I try to run the report it tells me that I'm outside the whatever field... this I understand,but other than having multiple reports how do you have a reports whose layout is more than one page ???
