I tested Forms 4.5.6 on one of our Windows 95 machines, and had no problems. Perhaps your "read only" attribute is set on the .FMB file. I notice Windows 95 Explorer makes it harder to see these attributes. You have to right-click on the file,and ask for "Properties". (In Windows 3.* File Manager, you could ask to see the attributes in the main window.)
