Personal Oracle & SqlWindows

Hi folks
I get some weird problems, when I use a Application written in SqlWindows with a Personal Oracle Database.
The Application is rather complex, the database structure too. It was developed
with a real Oracle Server (SUN SparcStation, several versions of Oracle RDBMS),
connecting with sql*net v1 or v2.
The application gobbles a lot of windows resources. The stack is also used
extensively.
Alas, the Application doesn't work with the Personal Oracle Database. Some internal messages aren't received. Without these Messages the application doesn't work correctly.
For Gupta insiders:
The messages are posted with SalPostMessage. They never reach the recipient.
I have to use SalPostMessage. I'd prever SalSendMessage, but I have to use
the SalPostMessage in some places.
I suppose, the two-task connection to the Personal Oracle needs more resources than a sql*net connection. When the application stack gets full, messages can get lost.
Did someone experience the same ? Or does someone have a hint for me ?
Or can I connect to the Personal Oracle Database with sql*net ? It wouldn't make sense to run it as a server, but perhaps it would solve my resource problem.
It would be a big plus if the combination SqlWindows with Personal Oracle would work in my case, since this would be a great environment for product presentation. Other platforms work well for a singe machine installation: OS/2 and NT.
Greetings, Richard
