I am currently working on exactly such a process, except it is AutoCAD version 12 to Informix. The product you are interested in comes bundled with AutoCAD, ASE, AutoCAD SQL Exchange. Once the hooks are in place, data is exchanged bi-directionally, from AutoCAD to the SQL engine and vice versa. My problem was finding an AutoCAD guru who knew how to properly set up the layers, blocks, and tags in AutoCAD.
