(wrong string) ÝQ¨ where SCN is stored?

Page 7-20 of the O7 Server Admin guide Sez.

        select name, checkpoint_change# from v$datafile;

	checkpoint_change# "lists the final SCN written for a data files
	most recent checkpoint"

This what your looking for? The real question is how do you map SCNs to some point in time when your doing recovery? Anybody know? I sure dont.
