We are microFrameWorks, Inc. of Rapid City, in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota.
We provide Smalltalk/Oracle contract application development, training/mentoring, and systems integration/migration services. We develop on/off-site enterprise applications, frameworks and reusable business objects (w/ corresponding API/UI object layers for maximum object decoupling).
We can develop with any Smalltalk dialect and have experience especially with ParcPlace on Windows, Mac, and HP-UX platforms. We have developed for small to large dataspaces (50 million records) using RDBMS (e.g. Oracle7) and OODBMS (e.g. Versant) in a client/ server environment (TCPI/IP, IPX/SPX). We utilize OO methodologies such as OMT, Booch, Use cases, OBA and Gamma Design Patterns.
We have developed for several vertical markets from business/financial to architectural/construction to test/measurement. We always seek to learn new markets and ideas from our clients.
CURRENT NEEDS: We presently need developers who have experience with SQL*Forms for PC clients over a Novell LAN to an RS/6000-based Oracle7 server using TCP/IP. Knowledge of Smalltalk and/or OO methods is very desireable but not required. Available positions are for a 3-6 month contract leading to permanent employment with microFrameWorks. If you are interested, please contact us ASAP.
If you are a company looking for state-of-the-art, maintainable, reusable and extensible solutions for your information problems, give us a call, we listen. We are a small, dedicated firm dependent upon your ultimate success.
As we are located in Rapid City, we have low overhead resulting in very competitive rates. If you have projects or are looking for work, please contact us at your convenience.
With Warm Regards,
Bob Sienicki
