SQLNet v1.2 <SERVICES file lookup failure>

I'm running Oraclev6 on a SUN Station using SQLNet v1.2. when I try to start orasrv i recived the following error: "orasrv: SERVICES file lookup failure". Has anyone else incountered this problem if so pls. let me know
