HI.

This is my problem :

We have installed a database under ORACLE7 (triggers, tables, constraints, data...). Then we have created a connection beetween ACCESS (PC) et ORACLE (UNIX) via SQL*NET1. The interest is that we can querry the database with a PC (access).

The problem is that the respons of the database to a querry is very low. We think that this could come of ORACLE.

We have 1 database:B and 1 tablespace:ECORDRE (ECORDRE had 60 tables). Do it must create 1 tablespace for 1 table to accelerate the respons? what kind of tablespace? Coud you give me some examples of the tablespace's creation and table associated? Could you describe me how ORACLE work?

When we execute a querry on big table, we have this errors messages :

[oracle][ODBC oracle driver][oracle OCI]ORA-01562:failed to extend
rollback segment(id=2)

OR

[oracle][ODBC oracle driver][oracle OCI]ORA-01653:unable to extend
table XXX by 210 in tablespace SYSTEM.

Thanks in advance.
