I've built a forms (4.5) that use VBX's. I've just received Forms 4.5.6 and works really well with VBX's. Everything seems more stable now. A few months ago, I had to use the Crystal Reports VBX and forms kept crashing with the usual General Protection Fault message. What I've done is create a small Visual Basic application that actually uses the VBX correctly. Forms calls this application with parameters that thells the VB app how to behave, etc.
