We are currently evaluating Ecotools and Platinum's DBVISION.
DBVISION is a little simpler to use, but has fewer features than Ecotools.
Key features to evaluate:
Auto notification of poor performance of SQL, together will tools to
explain SQL query plan.
Auto kill of "runaway" ORACLE processes.
DBVISION has problems with HPUX on some features (Top CPU processes).
Ecotools had bugs in installation procedures on HPUX.
