As of last month; yes to 4.0.x no to 4.5.x (Oracle keeps slipping the ship date of 4.5.x for Mac.

According to Oracle, yes. Make sure that you change the coordinate system to 'Character' vice 'Real' when creating the form. However, there are all sorts of caveats to watch out for. One of the Oracle bulletins deals with them. One of the developers I'm working with would answer the question "No way" though as it's not easy to get the functionality in the form to please both GUI and Character mode users.
