Oracle Database Administrator

Growth oriented independent telecommunications company located on the beautiful South Carolina coast has an opening for a Database Administrator.

Responsibilities include the overall management of Oracle Relational Databases and the systems they run, all in a product development environment. Will also support systems and implementation activities.

Position will also utilize your expertise in all aspects of commercial data management, including loading/converting data from other non-Oracle systems into Oracle RDBMS, data integrity assurance, security managem3ent, recovery management, tuning at the physical datalevel, data engineering, and software version migration. Also Oracle applications development experience using SQL, PL/SQL, SQL-Plus and SQL*Forms V3/V4.

This position requires 3-5 years experience as an Oracle DBA. Formal Oracle training with extensive working knowledge of Oracle RDBMS V6/V7 combined with comparable range of expenience in Unix.

To qualify for this challenge, you will need a BS/BA or advanced degree in Computer Science or other related technical discipline.
