Here's a crunch question.
I haven't done an upgrade before; or at least not since version 5 on a Unix box, years ago, so this counts as a first time.
We have a DEC Alpha machine, OpenVMS 6.1 running V7.0.16
I have been putting off the upgrade to V7.1.3 for ages.
What do I do??
How much of the saveset do I load?
How do I make sure I do not overwrite my current database?
How do I run my Test DB in the new version while keeping the production on the old version?
I have so many questions that those will do to start.
It may be easier to reply by email to save gumming up this group, but I don't mind either way.
Thanks in advance,
Pete
