I have never experienced this problem with 7.0.15, 7.0.16 or 7.1.3! did you set the internal password during your install? also the set instance 2:ORCL can be handled by your sqldba startup file or preferably to edit the oracle ini and put in "LOCAL = T:SERVER:ORCL"

Of course this is with sqlnet installed, which you NEED to install for SQL*PLUS usage - you dont have to use TCP , you could go with named pipes. Received on Wed Jun 21 1995 - 00:00:00 CEST
