Win95 and Oracle/SPX

Has anyone managed to get oracle working with Windows 95 using SQL*Net v1.1 and SPX?

I have tried and failed. It seems that SQLSPX.dll insists on performing an illegal operation. The result is a GPF. I have tried this both from within an SQLWindows program and using Oracle's NetTest program.
