The problem is with two forms 4.5 applications running at the same time. The first aplication may be built to use 'Ms Sans Serif' wheras another may use 'System'. The 'default_font' has to be different in both cases but cannot as there cannot be two values. As to using specific fonts for items, in 4.5.5 If you use a custom, visual attribute or property class you lost gray backgrounds on the alerts and LOV's. ie we had to use default_font just to maintain the aesthetic's. This has been half fixed in 4.5.6 for custom and visual attributes but still does not work for property classes. (specifically black foreground, gray background, tranparent fill produces different behaviour from forms4.5.6 between the custom/visual attributes and property classes - when it should mimic the standard windows look).
