PO7 will take 30 MB for default database and executables, this will include SQL*PLUS and all the demo tables and user and all the other basic rdbms utilities.

Developer 2000 which will include Forms, Reports, Graphics, Browser, & Procedure builder and all the demos will probably take around 300 MB.

The more RAM you have the better, all the above will run on 16 Meg of RAM, but 32 Meg will be better. Set a large as possible swap file, 20 MB would be nice.

I run all the above Oracle Products, plus CDE 1 Prodcution 1, on a Pentium 100 MHz, with PO7 as the database and all run extremely fast and efficiently. Received on Sat Jun 10 1995 - 00:00:00 CEST
