Oracle Database Administrator

Growth oriented independent telecommunications company located on South Carolina coast has an opening for a Database Administrator.

Responsibilities include the overall management of Oracle Relational Databases and the systems they run, all in a product development environment. Will also support systems and implementation activities.

In addition, this position will utilize your expertise in all aspects of commercial data management, including loading/converting data from other non-Oracle systems into Oracle RDBMS, data integrity assurance, security management, recovery management, tuning at the physical data level, data engineering, and software version migration. Also Oracle applications development experience using SQL, PL/SQL, SQL-Plus and SQL*Forms V3/V4.

This position requires 3-5 years of experience as an Oracle DBA. Formal Oracle training with extensive working knowledge of Oracle RDBMS V6/V7 combined with comparable range of experience in Unix.

To qualify for this challenge, you will need a BS/BA or advanced degree in Computer Science or other related technical discipline.
