Thanks everyone for your answers. Your solutions work for me in a simple case.....however....in a case where there are 2 queries....linked together in the linking tool in ORACLE Reports 2.0 where the second (child) query should be 0 when it is not executed. I've basically given up on trying to put a 0 as NULLS there....as if the parent query does not "call" the child query, then the (child)query will not even be executed....so how can I get it to put 0 there???
Oh well...you can't win them all. Thanks again for your answers....
