This may not have to do with using two versions, but just with trying to open two instances at once. Either way, it looks like you probably will have to reconfigure your kernel, modifying some of the semaphore settings.

Look up semaphores, and any parameters starting "SEMM" or "SHM" in your OS-specific manual and your installation manual.
