  We are running a SS1000 as well (128 Meg, 4 processors) Sql*net V1, 7.1.3 rdbms, and either NOVIX or LanWorkplace's TCP/IP . We are also using Century Software's TinyTerm for our terminal emulation. We have NEVER had our windows freeze on us.
  Suggested places to look would be client shells, the TCP/IP software and perhaps your terminal emulator.
