To access oracle from OS/2 you have the choice of the following sql*net protocols
SQL*Net v1
- tcp/ip - DECNet - APPC/LU6.2 - NetBIOS - SPX
SQL*Net v2
- tcp/ip - NetBIOS - SPX - APPC
This will allow any OS/2-based ORACLE app to access ORACLE on any platform that supports the corresponding protocol
If you are running a win-os/2 based ORACLE app you need a product called SQL*VDM for OS/2 or if you are running IBM's tcp/ip v2.x with the DOS/windows access kit you can use sql*net for WIndows v1 or v2.
