Affinity Publishing has a "Microsoft ODBC Driver Catalog" which contains a brief description of each driver and provides further contact information for the data source company.

Microsoft is now offering Version 2.0 of their ODBC Driver Pack, $10.00 cost to cover shipping and handling.
Intersolv is probably the largest independent (non-database maker) provider of ODBC drivers. They also offer a developer's kit that helps make the various drivers more uniform so your custom code can be even more generic (not all drivers are created equal, it seems).
