I downloaded the Oracle Objects 90 day free trial of of the www but have not been able to get it working with Visual Basic (VB). Since no documentation was included on how to install the software (i.e. what directories to put it in), I moved most of the stuff into the directories under c:\orawin in the logical places and just for safety copied the DLL's into the C:\WINDOWS directory. I then ran REGEDIT to register the OLE2 and oracle object references. Now I'm trying to run any of the sample VB .mak files supplied with the trial package. However, every one of them causes a GPF when executing the CreateObject statement. Any ideas.
