[Q]: transparent gateway to DB2 OC4 abend with RACINIT?

We are trying to get the transparent gateway to db2 working. we get an OC4 abend when the gateway tries to validate the password. The exact message is: ICH409I OC4-283 Abend during RACINIT Paramater Validation. The gateway then goes into a looping abend stream of dumps of soc4s and soc6s.
