We looked into this for Oracle V6 and the only other piece you need is the SQL Net TCP/IP (or Starlan?) for the PC. Oracle should already have this on the Unix box, but you have to start the service. As far as I could tell this is just the network layer between the Unix box and the Windows box. We ran on Starlan, but ditched it before we got the good ODBC stuff, so we ended up just exporting the data to delimeted (sp?) text files and importing them to MS SQL Server.
