Lock Manager for Oracle Parallel Server

Hi,

I have some questions on the lock management for the Oracle Parallel Server 7.1 .
To keep its data base caches in a coherent state, the Oracle Parallel Server needs a (distributed) lock manager. I read that Oracle defined an interface for the communication between the (distributed) lock manager and the Oracle Parallel Server 7.1

• Where can I find information on the interface between the lock manager and Oracle Parallel Server?
• What are the requirements to the lock manager?
• Which synchronization primitives are required?

Any information is much appreciated.
