Hi folks. We have the following setup:

    Oracle 7 Relational Database
    Intersolv/Q+E ODBC Driver
    Lotus 123 R4 for Windows

We can query the database and retrieve records from tables and views. Columns that are CHAR or NUMBER datatype come in just fine.

Columns that use the Oracle DATE datatype (which combines
date and time) come in as a bunch of ^^^^^^^^^^ characters.

Reformatting them as "General" or "Fixed" just gives a number that is not meaningful.

Any way to convert these to real date and time ?

FWIW, doing a similar query with MS-Excel results in actual date and time components.

Thanks for any help.
