Need comments about Develoment Tools

Hi Netlanders,

In the next couple months our corp is moving to Oracle. We are trying to decide wither to stick with UNIX, or migrate to a WinNT, or OS/2 server. Part of this decsion will be based upon the number and kinds of software dev tools available in each envionment. Which brings me to my question:  

What environment are you running in, and the good, and bad point about the devlopment tools you use to write the following: Reports, user interfaces, SQL queries, and so on. Obviousily, the tools need to run in the aforementioned environments, and talk to the oracle DB on the same machine.
