Bob, we have had good experience prototyping Client/Server GUI applications in HyperCard using the ExecSQL() XCMD (external command) that Oracle ships in the Orale for Macintosh Client Tools v2.0. This is a good API for ORACLE, and being in HyperCard has allowed us to compile it all and build a non-interpretted application using Heizer Software's "CompileIt!" script compiler and "Double-XX" linker. Things run very well, and quick, too. But you are left with the early flexibility of having the application in HyperCard for rapid turnaround until the req'ts settle down. Hope this helps!

BTW, the next release of the ExecSQL XCMD will be included within the "ORACLE Glue for Macintosh" package, with final release pending. It is almost completely bug-free in the latest Beta.

Oh, and I like your "DON'T WORRY: pray!" re; Phil. 4:6-7; good stuff!
