try this.... make sure you have a batch file that runs ..\xbin\sqlvdm.exe. When you call your Oracle Forms 4 executable from an OS/2 session make sure this WINOS2 session fires the batch file hence starting sqlvdm.exe. Without this client portion of SQL*VDM you don't have a hope in *+)& of getting the connection engaged across the network.

To set the WINOS2 session go into the session portion of the settings notepad and set the dos_autoexec to execute the desired batch file.
