Hello,

We've got DOS-based PCs (DOS 5.0 mostly) running Windows 3.1 that need access to our Unix-based Oracle7 databases (currently 7.0.16.4). We are currently doing this using a variety of versions of SQL*Net and FTP's TCP/IP version 2.31.

Also, we have the added complication of having to support access to MS SQLserver. We are doing this today using ODBC libraries from MS-Access 2.0.

What I'm looking for is a current, stable and supportable software configuration that will provide the infrastructure for a variety of Oracle7 (via SQL*Net or ODBC) and SQLserver (via ODBC) tools.

Does anyone have such a configuration that is based on DOS 5.0, Windows 3.1 and FTP PCTCP 2.31?

Please respond by E-mail with exact version numbers and limitations, if any. I'll post a summary at a later date.

Thank you.
