I convereted a whole database this way. Make sure you use the v6 exp to do the export and the v7 imp to do the import. Page 3-6 thru 3-7 In the "Oracle7 Server Utilties Guide" gives some of the details. There is also a manual called the "Oracle7 Server Migration Guide" that should be very usefull.
If you have a specific error I might be able to give you some more help.
