Might I suggest something related, but not completely the same?
I would suggest looking at the NIAM method (Natural language Information Analysis Method). Based on the natural language principle this is a very nice method to structure data (and even to some extent knowledge). Relational tabel definitions can be generated which support the Fifth or Optimal Normal Form.
There are a few tools available for this method, one of them being InfoModeler from Asymetrix.
A mailing list is also available as 'niam_at_tpd.tno.nl'. Subscriptions can be sent to 'niam-adm_at_tpd.tno.nl'.
