Hi Dave,

we have had this problem too. Use the checkTCP-program (located $ORACLE_HOME/tcp/install) to determine if your installation of SQL*Net is correct. Maybe the TCP/IP driver isn't linked to your database-kernel. Try new installation of TCP-Product and verify the relinking of the kernel.
