Unless your Novell fileservers are physically separated by large distances (e.g. different cities) or you are planning an extremely heavy transaction load on your databases, I think you will find that running snapshots on multiple servers will:

  1. Cost much more.
  2. Be much more difficult to administer.
  3. Not improve performance significantly.
