Running Oracle under Linux

We are in the process of trying to buy a copy of Oracle to run on a 486 PC, which normally runs MS-DOS, so when I talked to the Oracle salespeople I only asked about DOS. Now it occurs to me that a couple of guys in our group are running Linux on their PC's (we are normally SUN users, but I don't think I can afford ORACLE for the SUN). Of course, these questions are all occurring to me when the sales rep that I need to talk to is off at a convention or some such, so I hope these questions haven't already been beaten to death -

Can I get a copy of Oracle that will run under Linux? Would Oracle for Unix run under Linux? Is the cost any different that it would be for MSDOS? If Oracle can run under Linux, is it a beast to install and maintain?

Thanks for any words of wisdom -

Ebeth
